Discover moreSteenval Studios develops GoldClaim: Starfall Nuggets, a frontier mining RPG focused on building industrial mining operations in a living frontier world. Players establish mining claims, process ore through crushing and washing systems, and grow small settlements into thriving frontier communities.
GoldClaim focuses on realistic mining workflows including excavation, rock crushing, sluice processing, and gold recovery. Mining equipment, terrain, and geology interact to create dynamic and rewarding extraction systems.
Each claim is shaped by geological rules that determine terrain composition, resource distribution, and rare nugget formation. Exploration and expansion gradually reveal new mining opportunities across a reactive frontier landscape.
A mining RPG combines resource extraction with long-term progression, player choice, and world interaction. Instead of simple loops, these games connect economy, infrastructure, and exploration into a coherent system where decisions have lasting impact.
Gold mining games focus on discovering, extracting, and processing valuable resources. From manual panning to industrial-scale operations, players build setups that turn raw terrain into profit through strategy and efficiency.
GoldClaim introduces a dynamic frontier where mining activity shapes the world. Settlements grow, economies shift, and opportunities emerge based on player actions and resource flow.
GoldClaim is currently in active development, building deep systems step by step. As new milestones are completed, more gameplay and world interactions will become visible.
You can connect with your gaming-friends — GoldClaim will support cooperative play, allowing players to build and operate mining sites together. Multiplayer functionality is planned for a post-MVP phase, expanding frontier operations into shared industrial enterprises.
A growing community will form around GoldClaim through the Steam platform and an official Discord server. Players will be able to follow development updates, share discoveries, and discuss mining strategies.
GoldClaim is developed independently by Steenval Studios, focusing on deep systems and meaningful player discovery. The project grows step by step as new mechanics, locations, and gameplay systems are added over time. This reinforces the indie developer identity.
GoldClaim will in the future be released on the Steam platform, allowing players worldwide to easily download and follow development updates.
