STEENVAL STUDIOS is LIVE

A new year is a great marker for setting up both the Steam Community and website – done!

I will be posting relevant updates regarding the studios’ current project here. Meanwhile I’ve already created the kick-off page here, explaining the project. Yes, it’s a solo-effort, but conditions couldn’t be more in my favor as of now. There’s no hesitation for being able to finish the MVP within the timetable I’ve given myself – the question is whether I can prevent scope-creep and keep outside derailments from happening. I won’t be engaging social media, fundings/kickstarters or publishing contracts, and I am pretty sure noone will even read this post soon. For now, I’m prioritizing development and using this site as a reference point to avoid over-explaining the project. My runway is pretty clear.

Are you interested in the current project’s progress? There’s an active subscribe function. You can give likes to posts/pages, or provide feedback – I will read it all and provide an honest constructive reply whenever I can.

As this site is hosted in the Netherlands and its server in Germany, it’s obligatory under the GDPR-law and I can assure you that your information is stored safely here. I am not here to make a bad name after all – just to keep doing what I like which is creating digital worlds in games.

There’s a Steam community page which can be found here https://steamcommunity.com/groups/steenval

You can follow it if websites are tedious, but take note that only this website (steenval.com) is intended for the actual progress of game developments. The Steam community page is simply an early placeholder for those who just want to know when the game is released, or rather have Steam’s internal discussion system. I won’t actively post there, but I reply there too.
